TransferDesk Agent Agreement
Prices shown here are the standard rates. If your account has different rates, the agreement in your agent console states them, and that is the version you accept.
Version 2026-10-05.1 · Last updated October 5, 2026
This agreement is between PhantomDesk LLC ("PhantomDesk", "we", "us") and you, the licensed insurance agent who buys calls and callback leads through TransferDesk ("you").
You accept it by ticking the box and selecting "I agree" in your agent console. It adds to our Terms of Service at /terms. Where the two differ on anything to do with TransferDesk, this agreement applies.
1. What TransferDesk does
TransferDesk connects people who call about final expense insurance with licensed agents. Each call is offered to one agent at a time: an agent who is available, licensed in the caller's state and has enough credit, starting with the agent who has been available longest since their last call. If that agent is not connected, the call is offered to the next one.
When a call is offered to you, your console shows the caller's details and counts down three seconds, then connects you automatically. You do not press anything to accept. If you can't take a call, choose Skip before the countdown ends, or go offline.
Calls reach you only in your agent console, in your browser. We never ring your phone for a call. While you are available, keep the console open in the foreground with your microphone allowed; if it is closed, in the background, or has no working connection, calls skip you.
2. Price
A qualified live transfer costs $80. A callback lead costs $35. Both are paid from your prepaid credit.
When a live transfer connects to you, $80 of your credit is set aside for that call. When we finish grading the call, that amount becomes the charge if the call was qualified. If the call was not qualified, it goes back to your available credit.
A callback lead is charged when you claim it.
If we change a price, we will email you at least 30 days before the change, and you will be asked to accept an updated agreement. A new price applies only to calls and leads after it takes effect.
3. What "qualified" means
A live transfer is qualified when, graded from the call recording and transcript, it meets qualification criteria version final_expense.v2. Under that version, all of these must be true:
- The caller is between 50 and 85 years old.
- The caller's state is known, and it is one of the states you selected as licensed.
- We captured whether the caller already has coverage: yes, no, or unsure.
- The caller wanted to talk about coverage. A wrong number, a complaint, or a caller who says they are not interested does not qualify.
- The caller stayed in the conversation for at least 90 seconds.
Each call is graded against the criteria version in force on the day of the call. If we publish a new criteria version, we will update this agreement and ask you to accept it again.
4. Prepaid credit
You pay for calls and leads with credit you buy in advance. Payments go through Stripe's checkout. We never see or store your card details.
You can buy one call, two calls, or a 3-call bundle, or enter your own amount. The 3-call bundle costs $230 and gives you $240 in credit: what you paid, plus $10 of promotional credit. Your balance history shows the purchase and the promotional credit as separate entries.
Each qualified call and each claimed lead is drawn from your credit. If your available credit can't cover a call, you won't be offered calls until you add more.
5. Refunds of unused credit
Unused credit is refundable. You can ask for it back at any time by emailing admin@phantomdeskai.com. Within 10 business days of your request, we refund your unused balance to the card you paid with where our payment processor still allows a refund to that card. Where it doesn't, we refund it by another method we arrange with you.
Credit already spent on qualified calls or claimed leads is not refundable, except through the dispute process in section 6.
If a payment is refunded, the credit it bought comes off your balance.
Promotional credit, such as the bonus on a call bundle, is not refundable and has no cash value. If the payment that earned it is refunded or charged back, the promotional credit is removed along with it (in proportion, for a partial refund).
6. Disputes
You have 7 days from a call to dispute its charge. Use the Dispute button on that call in your console, pick the reason, and add a note about what went wrong. We review the recording and transcript and tell you the outcome. If we approve it, the charge is credited back to your balance.
We credit the charge back to you if the call:
- came from a state that is not on your licensed list (wrong state);
- reached you with none of the caller's details collected (no intake);
- had no one on the line, or a caller who could not be heard (dead air);
- repeated a call from the same caller that you were already charged for, within 30 days of the earlier call (duplicate).
We do not credit a charge because the caller did not buy, did not pick up a call back, or was not a fit for the products you sell. You are paying for a qualified conversation, not a sale.
7. Card chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please use the dispute process in section 6. It is the fastest way to get credit back.
If you dispute a payment with your card issuer instead, we suspend your account while the chargeback is open. The credit from that payment comes off your balance, and you won't be offered calls or leads until the chargeback is resolved.
8. Recording
Every TransferDesk call is recorded from start to finish, including both the caller and you. Callers hear a notice at the start of the call that it is recorded.
You consent to being recorded on every call you take, and to us storing the recording and its transcript. We use them to grade calls, settle disputes, and meet our compliance obligations. You can listen to and read every call you take in your console.
9. Your license and your compliance
You confirm that you hold a valid, active insurance license in every state you select in your console. You will keep that list accurate. If a license lapses or is suspended, you will remove that state before you take another call.
You are responsible for what you say and sell on the call, and on any call you make back to the caller. That includes your own compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), state insurance laws and regulations, and the rules of the carriers you represent.
10. No guarantees
We don't promise any number of calls, any close rate, or any amount of business. The only promise we make about a call's quality is that a qualified call meets the criteria in section 3.
11. PhantomDesk is not an insurance agency
PhantomDesk is not an insurance agency, carrier, or broker. We don't sell insurance, and we don't give insurance advice to callers or to you. Our assistant tells callers that it is automated and is not a licensed agent.
12. Independent contractor, non-exclusive, either side can stop
You work as an independent contractor. You are not our employee or agent, and this agreement does not make us partners.
This agreement is not exclusive. You can buy calls or leads elsewhere, and we can offer calls to other agents.
Either of us can end this agreement at any time. You can stop by going offline and emailing admin@phantomdeskai.com. We can stop by telling you. When it ends, you can ask for your unused credit back under section 5. Charges already made, disputes already open, and sections 8, 13 and 14 continue after it ends.
13. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with TransferDesk is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event the claim is about. We are not liable for lost profits, lost commissions, or indirect losses.
14. Governing law
The laws of the State of Illinois govern this agreement. Any dispute about it will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
15. Changes to this agreement
When we change this agreement, we publish a new version with a new date. You must accept the new version before you can buy credit, go available, or be offered calls or leads again. Credit you already bought stays on your account.
