Our Founding Customer Offer (And Why We're Doing It)

By Phantom Desk AI Team · May 8, 2026 · 3 min read

We're filling three founding customer spots over the next 60 days. Here's exactly what the offer is, what we want in exchange, and who it's for. No mystery.

What it is

The first three customers get a special founding rate, locked in for 24 months, in exchange for a case study and testimonial. After those three slots are filled, the program closes and standard pricing applies.

Why we're doing it

Three reasons, in order of importance.

Real call data. The model gets better the more real calls it handles, and the real calls have to come from real businesses with real customers. Friends-and-family pilots don't surface the edge cases. We need a roofer's actual storm-week call volume and a vet practice's actual Monday-morning rush to find what's still broken.

Customer stories. Prospect 4 through prospect 100 are going to ask "who else uses this?" If we can point to three real businesses with real numbers — calls captured, jobs booked, dollars recovered — we close those deals faster and at full price. The case studies we build with founding customers are how we sell the next 97.

Honest feedback. We need to know what's missing, what's confusing, what's worth paying more for, and what we should rip out. That's a conversation we can only have with people who have actual money on the line.

What we're asking in exchange

  • Permission to publish a written case study with the business name and concrete metrics (calls captured, response time, jobs booked, dollars recovered).
  • A 20-minute video testimonial. We record it, edit it, and let you review the final cut before it goes anywhere public.
  • A 30-minute call with one of the founders once a month for the first six months, focused on what's working and what isn't.

That's the entire ask. No exclusivity, no equity, no other strings.

What you get

  • The founding rate, locked in for 24 months. The number we agree on at signup is the number you pay through 2028.
  • A direct line to the founders. If something breaks, you have our phone numbers. You're not opening a ticket.
  • Influence on Phase 2 product priorities. The integrations we build, the verticals we prioritize, the call flows we ship next — founding customers vote first.
  • Logo placement on the homepage and in pitch decks, with your permission.

Who's a fit

You're a fit if all of these are true:

  • You run a roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or veterinary business — one of the verticals we serve.
  • You take at least 50 to 100 inbound calls per month. Lower volume and the math doesn't move enough to be worth a case study.
  • The owner can decide on this without going through three layers of approval. Founding customer agreements need to move in days, not quarters.
  • You're willing to be a public reference. If you can't be named or quoted, the program doesn't work.

You're not a fit if you need a 90-day procurement process, you can't share metrics publicly, or you're looking for a discount with no strings.

How to apply

Book a 20-minute demo. We'll know in the first 10 minutes whether it's a fit on both sides — yours and ours. If it's not, we'll tell you straight, and we'll point you at the right tier of standard pricing instead.

If it is a fit, we move quickly: a follow-up call with both founders, a signed agreement within a week, and onboarding inside the next two.

This post exists because we want the offer to be obvious. There's nothing hidden in the terms. The founding rate is real, the case study commitment is real, and the spots are limited to three.
